500 Global in Eurasia Kicks Off 11th Batch in Tbilisi with Bank of Georgia and GITA

With the support of Bank of Georgia, the eleventh batch of the 500 Global in Eurasia acceleration programme has begun its training. The programme runs for 12 weeks and is delivered in partnership with Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and 500 Global. The aim is to develop technology startups in Georgia, strengthen them with international experience and help them enter global markets.

Eleven startups in the eleventh batch

The companies taking part in the cohort are Azta, Joberos, MediMind, moonlight, Naoma AI Inc., Pugi, Sparrow Analytics, Subsig, Synqmonkeys, TaskRoom and Yena.

The programme gives early-stage technology startups the opportunity to gain practice-based knowledge, refine their business models, prepare growth strategies and start scaling internationally.

A 12-week programme in three phases

The intensive programme includes training modules, individual mentoring with internationally experienced experts, and support in solving the challenges that emerge in the early stages of a startup's development.

According to official information, Batch 11 of the 500 Global programme runs from 21 September to 11 December. It is divided into three phases: the first in-person phase runs from 21 September to 2 October, the second phase is held remotely from 5 October to 27 November, and the final in-person phase takes place in Tbilisi from 30 November to 11 December. Demo Day is scheduled for 10 December.

According to the accelerator, companies accepted into the programme are offered a $100,000 investment, subject to final terms and due diligence.

Results so far and Demo Day

The initiative has been running in Georgia since 2022 within the partnership of Bank of Georgia, GITA and 500 Global. Over that period, more than 100 founders and startup representatives have completed the programme, which has become one of the key platforms for developing technology entrepreneurship in Georgia.

Programme participants work with qualified mentors and investors, gain practical knowledge in business development and scaling, prepare to attract investment and build connections with representatives of the international startup ecosystem," Bank of Georgia said.

Traditionally, the accelerator concludes with a Demo Day, where participants present their products, business development dynamics and progress to investors, corporate sector representatives and industry experts. Demo Day gives startups an opportunity to expand their professional network, establish new business contacts and present their ideas to potential partners and investors.
