Lyft agrees to pay $272.5 million to settle California driver misclassification lawsuit

California's attorney general and the city attorneys of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles announced the $272.5 million settlement on Thursday. If approved, at least $237 million will go back to drivers for unpaid wages and benefits.
