Meta bans ByteDance and TikTok ads on its platforms in the US and other countries

Meta has banned advertisements from ByteDance, TikTok's Chinese parent, on Facebook and Instagram in the US, Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. The ban extends to third-party ads linking to TikTok.
