Anthropic Launches Dashboards and Motion Beta Features for Claude
Anthropic launched two beta features for Claude: Dashboards turns data from BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce into live auto-updating dashboards, while Motion creates animated explainer videos from text, diagrams, and images.
Two New Beta Features for Claude
Anthropic has launched two new beta features for Claude. Dashboards connects data sources such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce and turns them into auto-updating live dashboards through a text prompt. Every number shown in a dashboard displays its underlying query, and results can be piped into tools like Amplitude, Grafana, or Hex, according to Anthropic.
The second feature, Motion, creates animated explainer videos from text, diagrams, and images. Videos are editable as code and can be exported as MP4 files. Dashboards is available to paid users, while Motion is limited to Team and Enterprise plans.
Docs, Slides, and Design Exit Beta
Docs, Slides, and Design are leaving beta and now work across all plans, including free accounts. Anthropic says more than 45 million documents have been created with these tools. The company also said the earlier announced Claude Design will be folded into the main app by December 14, and a migration guide is available.
Microsoft Reportedly Cuts Back on Claude Usage
The announcement comes as Microsoft is reportedly cutting back on its usage of Claude. The article speculates that the strong adoption of Anthropic's document tools might be one reason for the shift.
