Cloudflare opens waitlist for fully managed Cloudflare OS deployments

Cloudflare has opened a waitlist for fully managed Cloudflare OS deployments. The agent workspace now works with GitHub repositories and Google Workspace, while Cloudflare runs the infrastructure.

Cloudflare has opened the waitlist for fully managed Cloudflare OS deployments. Cloudflare OS (os.cloudflare.app) gives everyone in an organization an agent workspace that knows how the company works and connects to its data and systems.

Cloudflare announced Cloudflare OS last month and released it as open source. Since then, thousands of organizations have started using it to work with company data, produce documents and slides, build tools for their teams, and automate work with agents.

What the managed option includes

With the managed version, an organization launches its own agent workspace from the Cloudflare dashboard in a few clicks. Customers choose a custom domain, set the Cloudflare Access policies that apply, and pick which AI Gateway to connect; Cloudflare handles the rest. Organizations also decide who can access Cloudflare OS, which organizational skills and context are available, and which systems it can reach.

Cloudflare OS can already be deployed into a customer's own Cloudflare account from the open-source repository. That route gives full control, but it also means someone has to configure the deployment, operate it, and keep it up to date.

What's new in Cloudflare OS

On the code side, Cloudflare OS can now connect to an existing GitHub repository. The agent can explore the codebase, fix a bug, add a feature, or open a pull request, and it can search and edit files, review its changes, create commits, and push them to GitHub.

Cloudflare also improved the Google Workspace Gatekeeper, the service-specific Worker that sits between Cloudflare OS and an external service. The agent can now read and research Gmail threads, create drafts, and send emails, and organizations can connect an entire Google Drive, a specific folder, or an individual doc or sheet.

Work can also leave Cloudflare OS in the formats teams already use: documents, presentations, and spreadsheets can be exported to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PDF, Markdown, or HTML. Microsoft Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) exports are coming soon, and tools can define their own export formats, such as a schedule that downloads as a calendar file (.ics).

Why it matters

Cloudflare OS remains open source and can be deployed today into a customer's own account. The managed option serves organizations that prefer a ready-made service: they define access, context, and connected systems, while Cloudflare runs the infrastructure. Interested organizations can join the waitlist.
