Cyera Raises $400M From Goldman Sachs in a Series G Extension

Data-security company Cyera has taken another $400 million from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, extending its Series G. Its stated valuation stays above $12 billion, and 2026 fundraising now totals $1.4 billion.

Data-security company Cyera announced on 22 September that it has raised $400 million from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. The investment extends the Series G round that Evolution Equity Partners led in June and leaves the company's stated valuation unchanged at more than $12 billion, so the new capital arrives without a fresh markup.

Fifteen months, nearly $2 billion

The round is Cyera's third large raise this year: $400 million in January, $600 million in June at a $12 billion valuation, and now a further $400 million — $1.4 billion in 2026 alone. The Wall Street Journal reports that the company has brought in more than $1.9 billion over the past 15 months, and its total funding now passes $2 billion. The valuation has climbed quickly: $3 billion in 2024, $6 billion in 2025, $9 billion in January and $12 billion in June.

Security built for autonomous agents

Founded in 2021 by CEO Yotam Segev and CTO Tamar Bar-Ilan, Cyera began by classifying enterprise data and mapping who can reach it. This year it extended that control to the software acting on the data. Its Agent Guardian and Cyera Endpoint products track what AI agents do — not just prompts and responses, but the tool calls, database queries and actions in between, from cloud deployments down to endpoint devices where local agents such as Claude Code and Cursor handle sensitive work. In July the company acquired Oasis Security for about $1 billion, adding non-human identity (NHI) management: the credentials machines and agents use, rather than people.

What the money is for

Cyera says the funding will support its AI security roadmap, a deeper push into the US federal market, and international growth across EMEA and APAC. The company employs more than 1,500 people in 18 countries and names Paramount, Chipotle and Valvoline among its customers. "Global 2000 enterprises are telling us the same thing: they need to trust what AI agents can see and do before they can scale them," Segev said. Irit Kahan, a managing director at Growth Equity within Goldman Sachs Alternatives, said securing AI "will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade." The deal fits a wider pattern: investors are pouring capital into cybersecurity on the expectation that companies will profit from the risks advanced AI models create.
