NeuroXess Raises RMB 700 Million in Series B for Triple-F BCI

NeuroXess has completed a RMB 700 million Series B round co-led by SDIC Unity Capital, Shenzhen Capital Group and Triwise Capital to fund clinical trials, a Giga-factory and next-generation BCI research.

NeuroXess announced on October 28, 2026 that it completed a RMB 700 million Series B financing round co-led by SDIC Unity Capital, Shenzhen Capital Group (SCGC) and Triwise Capital. The company said proceeds will support multi-center registered clinical trials and regulatory approvals for its Fully-implanted, Fully-wireless and Fully-functional (Triple-F) brain-computer interface system, construction and ramp-up of its Giga-factory, next-generation product research and BCI plus AI convergence.

Investors and syndicate

The round drew co-investors including China Fortune-Tech Capital, Huangpu Investment, Cornerstone Capital, IDG Capital, Xichen Capital, Junxi Capital, Huafu Securities, Huasai Zhihui, ZWC Partners and Jiangxi Financial Holding, while Shanda Group and Zhongping Capital continued their support as existing investors. SDIC Unity Capital said NeuroXess has achieved full-stack proprietary research and development across hardware and software and that its Triple-F system has established a clinically reproducible surgical paradigm. SCGC said brain-computer interface technology is one of six frontier future industries prioritized in China's 15th Five-Year Plan, while Triwise Capital cited NeuroXess as one of the rare Chinese enterprises to have executed a complete end-to-end clinical closed loop.

Clinical and factory progress

NeuroXess has completed 65 clinical trials and has started construction of a Giga-factory covering a planned area of 14,300 square meters with a target annual delivery capacity in the tens of thousands of units. On July 7, 2026, the Triple-F system began a GCP registered clinical trial at Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, led by Professor Ying Mao's team as principal investigator with nearly 20 Grade-A tertiary hospitals nationwide. The company described it as China's first subdural semi-invasive BCI system to enter the registered clinical phase for Class III medical devices.

Next steps

The proceeds will be directed to four areas: multi-center registered clinical trials and regulatory clearances for the Triple-F system, Giga-factory mass production infrastructure, next-generation product development and BCI-AI convergence. Next-generation work will focus on continuous iteration and optimization of speech brain-computer interfaces and accelerated visual BCI research to expand clinical indications. NeuroXess aims to achieve scaled commercial translation in the medical market within two years. Founder, CEO and Chief Scientist Dr. Tiger H. Tao said the round will accelerate the company's transition from clinical validation to scaled commercial implementation and that it will coordinate industrial supply chains and expand its collaborative ecosystem.
