Xreal One Pro+ AR Glasses Arrive With 1,200 Nits of Brightness and Redesigned Nose Pad

Xreal has released the One Pro+ AR glasses, an upgraded version of its popular One Pro. The new flagship offers 1,200 nits peak brightness, AI HDR upscaling, faster 2D-to-3D conversion, and a redesigned nose pad for comfort.

Brighter Display and Improved 3D Conversion

Xreal has released the One Pro+, an upgraded version of its popular One Pro AR glasses. The new flagship model is a minor refresh, but it brings several welcome quality of life improvements, starting with brightness. The One Pro+ reaches 1,200 nits of peak brightness, compared to 700 nits for the standard One Pro.

The glasses also include AI HDR upscaling technology to improve the visuals. In addition, Xreal has upgraded its 2D-to-3D conversion algorithm from 30Hz to 60Hz. This feature adds depth to 2D content, similar to the spatial imaging system available with the Apple Vision Pro.

Redesigned Nose Pad for Longer Sessions

Xreal has introduced a newly designed nose pad that aims to maximize long-term comfort. The company promises the pad will improve overall stability, but not at the expense of the field of view. This addresses a common complaint with AR glasses, which tend to become uncomfortable quickly when worn for extended work sessions of two or three hours rather than short 20 minute bursts.

Same Core Specs, No Camera, $600 Price

Otherwise, the One Pro+ remains largely the same as the One Pro. The glasses still use the X1 spatial computing chip and offer a 57-degree field of view. Xreal positions them as strong options for productivity through screen mirroring and for watching content, noting that the original One Pro intrigued users in ways that Meta's glasses never did. Notably, the One Pro+ does not include a camera, a feature that is a mainstay with Meta's offerings, so wearers are unlikely to be suspected of recording people.

The Xreal One Pro+ AR glasses are available right now and cost $600, the same price as last year's One Pro.
