HomeView Excluded from EU Launch
Apple's new HomeView smart home hub will not be available in the European Union because Siri AI is currently unavailable on iOS in the region, the company said on Tuesday. The exclusion means customers in EU countries will not be able to purchase the device when it launches next month.
Apple said it is "working constructively with the EU in an attempt to find a path forward," but the company provided no timeline for when HomeView might become available in the region.
Pricing and Launch Details
HomeView costs $299 in the United States and launches on November 13 in eight countries around the world. The device was unveiled at Apple's "Welcome home" event held in New York on October 13, 2026.
According to Apple's product calendar, the smart home hub features a squarish 7-inch touch-enabled display designed for controlling smart home products, listening to music, and making video calls.
