Floqer Hits $1.2M ARR, Plans Open-Source Release of Sales AI

Floqer, a startup pitching at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, plans to open-source its autonomous customer knowledge database in early 2027. The company has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue.

Pivoting From a Chrome Extension

Floqer was founded in 2024 by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, who met at university. Before launching the company, Mahajan worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl and Islam was a senior data scientist at Axis Capital. Their first product was a Chrome extension called Super Chat, which let users log in with their ChatGPT account, understand information, and take notes.

The founders soon noticed that enterprise companies were using the extension to clean up data in their customer relationship management systems. Conversations with those companies revealed that keeping CRM data clean was mostly manual work, with few established processes for keeping customer records up to date. Mahajan said that insight led the team to pivot and build Floqer.

Automating Prospect Research

Floqer describes itself as an autonomous customer knowledge platform for business-to-business sales and marketing teams. Users describe what they are looking for, and its AI agents search across different sources to build lists of relevant companies and contacts. The company says its system can enrich accounts, adding detail about the companies a sales team is targeting, using more than 100 third-party data sources. When it needs a verified email address or phone number, Floqer uses a waterfall approach, checking one data provider after another until it finds usable information.

The system also continuously monitors the web for changes. If a prospect changes jobs, gets promoted, or works at a company that raises new funding, those updates can be reflected in the user's customer records. Floqer describes the technology as a fleet of AI agents that continuously research companies, people, and customer interactions, so team members do not have to perform that work manually. According to the company, customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70 percent.

Open-Source Plans and Security Reviews

The startup says it has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, and that its overall revenue has grown roughly tenfold over the past year. It now says it has eight employees and more than 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList. The company has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding, with participation from investors such as Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats.

Floqer told TechCrunch ahead of its Startup Battlefield pitch at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 that it plans to open-source the technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database, targeting early 2027 for the release pending security reviews. The company says the database is currently available to a limited audience, mostly due to how much demand its team can actually serve properly, and open-sourcing it will help fix that. Mahajan said some companies want to host their own data rather than keep it inside a vendor's proprietary platform, while others want to modify the technology or build on top of it. Security reviews are underway because the database can contain sensitive customer information and large companies already use it.
