OnePlus ends new product launches in Europe and North America

The announcement

OnePlus has concluded new product rollouts in Europe and North America, the company said in a community post published on 16 July and signed by a community manager writing as Yash. The decision is described as part of a "proactive global strategy adjustment". Existing devices are not affected by the withdrawal: OnePlus says they will keep receiving scheduled software updates and security patches within the support periods originally committed for each model, backed by its parent company OPPO.

Service, warranty and repairs stay in place

Customer service channels remain open under the company's standard warranty and support obligations, and repairs continue for devices that meet the usual conditions. Warranties will be honoured according to the terms in force at the time of purchase, OnePlus says, and statutory consumer rights under national law are unaffected by the announcement. In its FAQ, the company adds that the European community forum and the European OnePlus Store both remain open "at this time".

Software: a move to ColorOS

After the official release of ColorOS 17, owners of existing OnePlus devices that fall within the eligible upgrade scope will be able to move to ColorOS voluntarily. The company frames the change as a way to streamline software development, deliver updates faster and share engineering and R&D resources with OPPO. Older models outside the upgrade scope keep receiving maintenance for their current software, and users who do switch will be able to roll back to OxygenOS, with the specific rollback versions to be announced later.

India carries on as usual

OnePlus India will continue to operate its business as usual, with all local operations on track, the FAQ states. Within hours of publication the community thread had collected more than 500 comments and roughly 390 likes.
