WiCi One eGPU connects over Wi-Fi 7 with an Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti, preorders from $1,999

WiCi has introduced the WiCi One, an external GPU that connects to laptops and other devices over Wi-Fi 7. Unlike most eGPUs, it does not rely on Thunderbolt or OCuLink cables. The product is aimed at users who want to keep a slim laptop but still need to run demanding games and AI tasks. Engadget reported on it on September 26.

What is inside the WiCi One

All of the hardware sits in the unit's own shell: a dedicated graphics card, a Wi-Fi 7 wireless module and a built-in cooling system. The base model pairs an Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU with an Intel Core 3 100U processor and 1TB of NVMe storage. The company is also planning a more powerful version with an RTX 5090 32GB, an Intel Core Ultra 7 225H processor and an NVMe 5 SSD with 4TB of storage.

Gaming and AI performance

According to WiCi, the RTX 5060 Ti model runs Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K Ultra with DLSS 4 at 80 fps, and Black Myth: Wukong at 4K Cinematic with DLSS 4 at 60 fps. Beyond gaming, the company markets the WiCi One for heavy AI workloads and for running local AI assistants.

Price and availability

The base model is available for preorder starting at $1,999, and its eventual price will be $2,599. WiCi expects to start shipping the first WiCi One units in the fourth quarter of this year, and will announce pricing for the RTX 5090 variant closer to launch.
